Catalina Plaza
Co-Founder | Climber, Trekker & Outdoor Tour Guide
Catalina grew up roaming the rugged peaks of Chilean Patagonia, and she’s been chasing and protecting wild places ever since, from the high passes of Nepal to the crashing coasts of Western Australia.
A certified rock climbing and trekking guide (New Zealand standard), Catalina is also trained in advanced wilderness first aid, professional CPR, river rescue, aquatic safety, and holds a First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) from Australia. She’s passionate about underwater activities too, holding her SSI Advanced Adventurer and Nitrox Diver certifications. Her experience runs deep: from guiding zip line tours and teaching climbing in Australia to canyoning down Nepali waterfalls and paddling whitewater rivers.
When she’s not guiding, she’s studying, coaching, or sending it on her own adventures. Her commitment to nature runs far beyond the trail, as Catalina also holds international certifications in marine ecosystem conservation, sustainability, and food-health systems. Having co-founded a travel company where impact and adrenaline go hand in hand, Catalina will ensure you can complete your roping course, rafting adventure, or mountain trek with confidence.
